“I am sick of all of this”
Pandemic Fatigue.
Wearing face masks, hand sanitizer, physical distancing, washing hands frequently, hand sanitizer, disinfecting groceries, eating in ALL THE TIME, avoiding gatherings, hand sanitizer, not having house guests, not travelling, hand sanitizer … get immunized, WOO HOO!! … wearing face masks, hand sanitizer, physical distancing, washing hands frequently, hand sanitizer, disinfecting groceries, eating in ALL THE TIME, avoiding gatherings, hand sanitizer, not having house guests, not travelling, hand sanitizer …and oh yeah … don’t forget to hand sanitize.
It all can be overwhelming when the short term solutions become long term norms, especially when COVID remains something discussed on the news but has not touched your world in a concrete way.
It can feel like the cure is worse than the disease.
You want to do the right thing to keep yourself and others safe, even if that means a slight inconvenience. But… it feels … endless. It feels exhausting, the type of exhausted that drains your soul and extinguishes your spark.
Figuring out how find your motivation to keep engaging in the endless precautions is important. It is extremely hard … but it is important. The precautions are keeping yourself and your loved ones safe. How to find this motivation and redefine hope to exist within the precautions rather than “when this is over” are all things that I can help you with. Please feel free to reach out and shift your Pandemic fatigue.
